Torbay Business Enjoying Huge Success In Pandemic
Commitment to local fuels big growth
Torbay, Devon. While many businesses have been struggling during the pandemic, a Torbay-based meal plan business has bucked the trend in impressive style.
After securing backing from a South West investment company in 2019 and moving to state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Torbay in 2020, FoodFit has seen a 400% growth during lockdown and is expanding the team.
Much of FoodFit’s success is linked to the focus on using local suppliers for every aspect of the business – from the seasonal fresh vegetables used in meal plans to the uniforms worn by team members.
The team includes Michelin-trained chefs, who prepare bespoke meal plans to address specific goals such as weight loss, building lean muscle, fitness, and healthy nutrition.
