As a company that prides itself on ethically sourced ingredients for your meals, we are also very passionate about the environment. Wrappers and packaging create a lot of waste, most of which ends up in land fills and will never break down. We have sourced new packaging that is compostable.
It is made from recycled cardboard and paper – They stand up well to the rigors of our food production, refrigeration and couriers! Best of all you can put these on your compost heap or you can recycle them. We know our customers support our stance on ethical products & we know you are as passionate about the environment as we are.
Woolcool returns
Woolcool now offer a very popular return service for our Woolcool liners. Once you have saved 12 clean and usable pieces, you can arrange free collection. Simply save 12 clean strips and roll them or fold them into 1 Foodfit box. Any box can be used, it does not have to be one that we delivered to you. Once this is done, simply download a CollectPlus label from https://www.collectplus.co.uk/woolcool and drop off at your nearest collection point.
Woolcool Eco-friendly shipping boxes
As the first Bespoke Prepped Meal company to introduce environmentally friendly WoolCool boxes back in September 2019, we are very happy to announce that we have moved all orders to wool cool as standard.
This will reduce our landfill contribution by over 80%. This is a massive reduction in waste as we continue to strive to be ever conscious of our environmental impact. WoolCool has proven to perform better than polystyrene at keeping our products chilled in transit. In addition to this, it’s not harming our planet while doing so. The Team at Foodfit are very proud of this achievement and we know our customers support this too. As Woolcool say:
